A group consisting of our Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences students on March 16-17th, 2013 had a 2-day journey to Kosovo organized by “Women Leadership” student`s club.

“In the first day, our journey started with the city of culture, the emblem of history, Prizren. Prizren is considered by the tourists as the jewel in the crown of Kosovo. This “must-be visited” city was full of visitors although the temperatures were down. We opened our day with the “League House” where we could see the remaining inhabited territories of Albania which dates on the Ottoman Empire era. This historical house was also the main point where the independence of Albania took place in 1912. The crossing of the geographical positions took the drive to Brezovica, a national park with an intermediate skiing set. The next day we changed the direction to the NEW BORN capital, Prishtina. We went through Museums, the Clock-Tower, the historical library and many other impressing places. Kosovo’s citizens were without any doubts the warmest people we've ever met. We ended the trip by visiting the families of some of the students who study in Epoka University. By this experience we had the opportunity to understand and underline the importance of our students. In the trip we had the prospect to motivate and enjoy unforgettable moments together” said Ms. Mergleda Hodo Research Assistant in Banking and Finance Department and “Women Leadership” student`s club advisor.

“It was wonderful time and full of celebrative atmospheres. Their independence was still an important event because everywhere we could see the symptoms on the billboards” said one of the students.
