Faculty staff supports Volunteer Foundation Club

November 18th, 2013

The Volunteer Foundation Club organized on November 18, 2013 a Food Fair, which has now become a tradition organized at our university. All the club members brought their cooked traditional foods. This Food Fair was organized at the main entrance of the university and was supported by students from all departments, offering their contribution buying the exposed traditional food, in solidarity toward the children of the orphanage of Durres.

This initiative was supported by Faculty staff and students. They all helped in collecting those funds by buying various food products. The main purpose of this event was to collect funds for the orphanage of Durres. On the other hand this activity was an excellent way of bringing students together in order to raise their awareness and solidarity for such human and noble aims.

“It was a great feeling to know that we gathered and organized something in order to help them even if our contribution wasn't great, but as Mother Teresa said “We cannot do great thing, but we can do small things with great love” and this is just how we did it, with a great love”, the organizers said.
