The Faculty hosted the Visiting Scholars from Sapienza and Salerno University

During September, 2015, the department of Business Administration at Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences ardently hosted the visiting scholar Mr. Mario Calabrese from Sapienza University of Rome and the visiting PhD student Francesco Caputo from University of Salerno. Mr. Mario Calabrese visited the faculty premises for one month with the aim to deepen his research in the field of sustainability and innovation. Instead, the visiting student Francesco Caputo visited the Business Administration Department in Epoka’s Campus with the aim of deepen the research for his PhD studies in the topic of “Information Asymmetry Related with Service Management in the Healthcare Industry”. The local coordinators and supervisors of these activities were Assist. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Üç and Assist. Prof. Dr. Xhimi Hysa.

Our departments will seek enthusiastically future potential collaborations of this kind in order to enhance the opportunities of staff exchange, student exchange, and scientific relationships. 

On August 25, 2015, Epoka University and the University of Salerno, in Italy, joined into a framework scientific and cultural agreement including joint and coordinated teaching and research programs. More precisely, the said activities are planned to be developed through: exchange of teachers, researchers, administrative staff and students; exchange of information, documents and scholarly publications of shared interest; and reciprocal use of the existing facilities of both the Institutions.

The University of Salerno is one of the oldest universities in Europe and internationally well-known. The University is made up of ten Faculties: Economics and Business, Pharmacy, Law, Engineering, Arts and Philosophy, Foreign Languages and Literatures, Medicine, Education, Mathematics, Physics and Natural Sciences, Political Science.
